These terms are the agreement between you and QSpace for using the QSpace platform at qspace.online. By creating an account or using QSpace you agree to them. The short version: use the platform honestly for your estimating work, your data stays yours, and treat the service fairly — we will do the same.
01 — The service
What QSpace is
QSpace is a browser-based platform for construction estimating and quantity take-off: building cost estimates, measuring drawings, managing rate libraries and worksheets, and producing reports and quotations. It is provided as an online service — there is nothing to install, and you need a modern browser and an internet connection to use it.
QSpace is a professional tool, not professional advice. Estimates, measurements and calculations are produced from the data and settings you enter; you are responsible for checking figures before relying on them in a bid, contract or any other commitment.
02 — Your account
Creating and keeping an account
You can sign up as an individual or as an organization. An organization account is registered under the organization's name and may add details such as a registration number, phone and website; the person creating it confirms they are entitled to act for that organization.
Give accurate details when signing up and keep them current. One account is for one person's sign-in — keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Tell us promptly at info@qspace.online if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use QSpace (in most places, that means 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live).
03 — Acceptable use
What you may not do
Break the law, or use QSpace to infringe anyone's rights (including uploading drawings or documents you have no right to use).
Probe, overload, attack or interfere with the service, other users' accounts or other users' data.
Resell, rent or provide the service to third parties as your own, or copy substantial parts of the platform to build a competing one.
Share one account between multiple people, or bypass plan limits by technical tricks.
Upload malware or content that is unlawful or abusive.
We may suspend or restrict an account that we reasonably believe is doing any of the above, and will tell you why where the law allows.
04 — Your content
Your projects stay yours
Everything you put into QSpace — projects, estimates, drawings, rates, libraries, worksheets, contacts — is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You give us only the limited permission needed to run the service: to store your content, process it (for example to calculate totals or render reports), back it up, and show it to the people you share it with.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. We do not look into your project data except to operate the service, to fix a problem you ask us to fix, or where the law requires it.
05 — Plans & billing
Free and paid plans
QSpace has a free plan and paid plans. What each plan includes and costs is shown on the pricing page, and may change; changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment provider (Paddle), which handles the checkout and your payment details — we never see your full card number.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; your plan then stays active to the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed.
If a payment fails and remains unpaid, the account may drop to the free plan. Your data is not deleted for that reason.
06 — AI features
Assistant and Ask AI
Some features use an AI model to help you — for example the in-app Assistant and the Tool builder's Ask AI. When you use them, the text you type and the relevant tool or page context are sent to our AI provider to produce the answer. AI output can be wrong: always check an AI-produced tool, formula or figure before relying on it. AI features may be changed, rate-limited or withdrawn as provider terms and costs change.
07 — Availability & data
Uptime, backups and exports
We work to keep QSpace available and your data safe, including routine backups. Still, QSpace is provided "as is": we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and maintenance, upgrades or events outside our control can cause downtime. Keep your own copies of anything critical — the platform's export and report features exist for exactly that.
08 — Liability
Limits of our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows: QSpace is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, lost bids or lost business), and our total liability for any claims connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, on the free plan, a nominal amount). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You remain fully responsible for the commercial decisions — bids, prices, contracts — you make using figures prepared in QSpace.
09 — Ending the agreement
Closing an account
You can stop using QSpace at any time and ask us at info@qspace.online to delete your account. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or that stay empty and unused for a long period — with notice to your registered email where reasonably possible, so you can export your data first.
10 — Changes
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. For meaningful changes we will give notice — on this page and, for material changes, by email or in-app notice — before they take effect. Using QSpace after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, unless the law of your own country necessarily applies.
